Cartoon Box

So recently I completed a little project, it's a locally hosted cartoon box, so basically I run a server on my local network with access to a folder with all my favourite content,  then i set up a website that runs html/php, what it does is when I press the fun button it pulls content from the folder randomly, I also made it so when "channel " changes it plays a static video before going to the next show, giving it that switching tv effect.. pretty cool i say, it also just plays all night randomly when the show ends..

1) right now, no I'm not, it's pretty much serving its purpose,  in it's early development i did add a menu and a search bar to the page, so I can find specific content but then I figured that was overkill. 

2) everything is running locally, so there's no upload/download bandwidth issue, plus i own all the content. If I was to publish it and make it available for public consumption, I would have to pay for bandwidth/hosting space etc.. and also it would violate legal boundaries because the content is copyrighted.

3) background activity when im working on projects and night time use when im ready for bed, I usually let it run all night sometimes too.  

It's basically a more convenient way to access content that I already own, so I dont have to waste time searching and selecting etc
