Visual thinking

OK so everyone remembers that meme with people imagining apples right?

I'm def #5 on that, not a visual thinker at all, can't really draw or plan out what to draw, it just becomes what it becomes, can't get that "internal movie" going that everyone talks about when I read, it's always a bit more abstract.
So asking here because there's a bunch of visual artists in here: How does it even work?
Do you guys sit around and rewatch a movie in your head when you're bored? Did I fall for a meme and nobody can see an apple but just claimed to to feel special and smart? I am genuinely wondering.

Do people dream things where they actually see things or is it more of a sensation or feeling? I never remember any visuals just the basic happenings and feelings it made me feel

I don't think I'm retarded when it comes to visuals I'm pretty good at Photoshopping shit but there is that instant feedback and usually some source image to edit so there's no massive headplanning

I score 1, you're just a n00b  Cool
I don't rewatch movies in my head, I just think of my own shit, and it's quite vivid I may add.
Sometimes I spend an entire day pissed off at a situation I made up in my head.
I like porn, but I don't need it to jack off. I come up with huge elaborate worlds and fantasies in my head just to wank.
I'm with my head in the clouds all the time, it's extremely difficult to empty my head and meditate, I get constant sensory overload due to my autism.
In fact, it's been incredibly difficult to function at school, work or very long social gatherings because of it.

Still, it makes me a goddamn good artist, so I'm proud of that!

Yeah i storyboard in my mind, scene by scene. It's much easier to change it real time through thought, rather than putting it down on paper and erasing it etc..

If I keep it in the non physical then it becomes more fluid in a way, which allows me to be more creative.

It's like im watching a movie that's projected onto a canvas but in my mind, if I keep "replaying" a scene over and over it strengthens it so to speak, then its fixed then I move onto the next one..

Then its just matter of transferring all of that into my computer using a drawing tablet.

I always thought minds eye was just a metaphor but I guess it's a real thing and mines not plugged in. My girlfriend is an avid reader and a visual thinker who is super easily grossed out if something icky is mentioned when she's eating or whatver, I never give a shit. Is visual thinking also the reason people love giving directions instead of just an adress?

Well, like you don't know what's going on in my head I don't know what's going on in yours.
I'm not entirely sure what you're expecting out of this question, you will never get a clear answer unless you develop telepathy.

Same! A classmate of mine who hated my guts (and I his) once yelled at me "You probably picture a coat when you read the word 'coat'" Me: "Yeah... That's how words work?" But apparently that's not the case for everyone. I wonder what happens instead when reading a book.
Sup.
